This is reflection for the video that I watched during English lesson. It was about going to foreign countries and still has the commitment to Singapore. As a Singaporean, I would always remain in Singapore to study and also fulfil my dreams. I’m glad that there are also people who went to foreign country but still had the feelings to come back to either visit Singapore or visit their family members. Some come back to do their National Services, and not run away from the service.This shows that how people have their trust in Singapore. They would want to come back to contribute to Singapore. Not all Singaporeans are that good as some had been fined for not doing their National Service. If I was in their shoes, I would definitely come back to finish up the debts that I owe Singapore. In return now Singapore has increased the amount paid for those who did their National Service.
To add on Singapore has encouraged people to stay by giving money to Singaporeans. Such money could vary for those in different housing. Those who are in less number of rooms, they get more money. This help the Singaporeans to stay in Singapore.
